**Ingredients:**

* 2 cups of broccoli florets

* 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

* 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

* 1 carrot, julienned

* 1 cup snap peas, trimmed

* 1 cup sliced mushrooms

* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (canola, peanut, or sesame oil works well)

* 3 cloves garlic, minced

* 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated

* 2 tablespoons soy sauce (use tamari for gluten-free option)

* 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (omit for a vegan version)

* 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional but adds great flavor)

* 1 tablespoon cornstarch

* 1/4 cup vegetable broth or water

* 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

* Cooked rice or noodles (to serve)

**Instructions:**

**1. Prepare the Vegetables:**

Wash all the vegetables thoroughly. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets, slice the bell peppers thinly, julienne the carrot, and trim the snap peas. Keep the vegetables ready on a cutting board.

**2. Make the Sauce:**

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), hoisin sauce (if using), cornstarch, and vegetable broth or water. Stir well until the cornstarch dissolves. This will be our flavorful sauce for the stir-fry.

**3. Stir-Fry Time:**

- Heat a large wok or a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and let it heat up.

- Toss in the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until they release their aroma.

**4. Add the Vegetables:**

- Add the broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn bright green and slightly tender.

- Next, add the sliced bell peppers, julienned carrots, snap peas, and mushrooms. Continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until all the vegetables are cooked but still retain some crunch.

**5. Incorporate the Sauce:**

- Pour the prepared sauce over the vegetables in the wok and toss everything together, ensuring that all the vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce.

- Let the vegetables cook in the sauce for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

**6. Serve the Stir-Fry Vegetable:**

- Once the vegetables are cooked to your liking and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove the wok from heat.

- Garnish the stir-fry with toasted sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.

- Serve the stir-fry vegetable over a bed of steamed rice or noodles, and enjoy this delightful and healthy meal!
